Genesis Announces Additions to the Firm's Tampa Landscape Architecture & Construction Management Teams

Genesis, the Florida-based Engineering, Planning, Landscape Architecture and CEI firm, has announced that three professionals have joined the company’s Tampa headquarters staff.

Jill Griffiths, RLA

Jill Griffiths, RLA, a registered Landscape Architect, brings to Genesis more than seven years’ experience in landscape architectural design including master planning, streetscape design and transportation project design in Florida and the Southeastern U.S. She has produced designs for parks and recreation facilities, municipal and public buildings/facilities and urban roadway enhancements among other projects.

Griffiths is presently involved in the design of several Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) roadway projects throughout North Florida that represent the FDOT’s "Bold Landscape" initiative to beautify Florida's roadways.

Ernest Davis

Ernest Davis is a graduate landscape designer with more than 14 years’ experience designing and managing a variety of landscape architectural design projects for private and public sector clients in Florida and the Southeastern U.S.

Currently, Davis is supporting planning and estimate production for FDOT District 3 Landscaping Plans for S.R.10A US 90 Scenic Highway, S.R.292 Barrancas Avenue, and S.R.292 Perdido Key Stateline Gateway in Escambia County.

Joseph Maldonado, CGC

Joseph Maldonado, CGC, has rejoined Genesis’ Tampa staff as Construction Manager, with more than 30 years’ experience managing and providing construction oversight for private and public sector infrastructure projects in Florida.

In addition to overseeing and managing stormwater, roadway and utility projects for the cities of Oldsmar and New Port Richey, and Pinellas County, Maldonado is currently providing construction management for a new 380-lot residential development in Hillsborough County and a new car dealership in Tampa.


Bruce Kaschyk, AICP, Genesis' Sr. Vice President and Tampa Division Manager announced the new personnel and said, "As we continue to grow, we look forward to building our team and offering additional opportunities for advancement to our valued professionals."
