Tallahassee, FL, March 7, 2016 – Tracy Forester has rejoined Genesis—a planning, engineering, and design firm—as Vice President. In this statewide role, Forester will provide professional services in the areas of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and fiber optic design, CEI, project management, and all aspects of advanced traffic management systems.
Forester has 29 years of experience in the field of traffic operations. His recent notable project experience includes providing project management for the $24 million FDOT District Three ITS project on Interstate 10 from Pensacola to Tallahassee, and serving as Construction Project Manager on Genesis’ design team for the $7.4 million ITS project on Interstate 10 in Tallahassee, Florida. His project experience also includes providing miscellaneous Traffic Operation Services to FDOT District Three, Concurrency and Traffic Impact Studies for the City of Tallahassee, and DRI/Sector Planning/Master Planning Services. Forester has hands-on experience in the highly technical and specialized area of Advanced Transportation Management Systems (ATMS). He is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America), and International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA).
